Conference Proposal Review Sub-Committee

Statement of Purpose

The Proposal Review Committee (PRC) is charged with creating a line-up of conference presentations that are diverse, multidisciplinary, relevant to college counseling center outreach, innovative, engaging, applicable to multiple audiences, and contribute to the field of outreach.  The PRC reviews & evaluates submitted proposals, selecting those that best support the theme of the conference, while considering emerging trends, diversity, presenter background, & overall contribution to counseling center outreach.  The PRC provides feedback to the Board of Directors re: conference format & structure with regards to presentations.

The PRC is intentionally diverse in membership to represent various professional disciplines, institution sizes, geographic locations, multiple identities, and new & returning members.   In addition, the committee typically has 1-2 representatives from the conference host institution.
